COP BASTARD on GOG: DRM-Free Version and Store Details

COP BASTARD arrived on GOG on the same day as its Steam release, October 29, 2026, making the DRM-free store a day-one option instead of an afterthought. GOG players get the full game, including the achievement set, at the same $11.69 launch price.

GOG store details

• Release date: October 29, 2026 (same day as Steam)
• Price: $11.69 at launch
• DRM-free: Yes, the entire point of the platform
• Achievements: Included and confirmed working by players

Why the GOG release matters

Retrovive's catalog philosophy shows here: games sell on Steam, but DRM-free copies live on GOG. For a solo-developed corridor shooter, same-day availability on both stores means:

• No waiting months for the DRM-free version.
• Identical launch pricing across stores.
• A fallback if you ever lose access to a launcher.

Achievements on GOG

GOG players confirmed the achievement set works on the platform, including the pistol and shotgun mastery awards and the challenge runs like the no-med-kit campaign. Note that a few achievements were reported bugged at launch; see our achievements guide for the details.
